Let's face it, 16 gigabytes of storage just isn't enough nowadays,
and if this current rumor is right, Apple is finally going to address
the second biggest annoyance facing iPhone users (the first annoyance is
battery life).
The latest rumor to leak is that not only has Apple decided to shelve the 16GB version of the iPhone, but that the 64GB option is also gone. This means that the storage lineup will look like this:
Adding a 256GB option for the higher-end model also makes sense given that Apple is already buying high-capacity flash for the iPad Pro.
What ever your thoughts on the rumored removal of the headphone jack, more storage is likely to be welcomed by many, and could very well be the catalyst that Apple needs to boost sales.
There is also a rumor that a new finish is coming to the iPhone 7, and that Space Black will join Space Grey, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold finishes. This will be the first black IPhone that Apple has made since the iPhone 5S.
This does make some sense given that the Apple Watch is currently offered in black.
